We don’t charge any fee for the arrangement of social placements. This practical course should last at least 4 weeks.
The Academia Activa has contact to different foundations. These organizations are of public utility and work principally with children, for example street urchins in Quito or children who live in poor conditions from the region of Pujilí.
Even though these children work, their development should not be obstructed and their education should be guaranteed. Also their environment and their families are included in these projects.
As these foundations are organizations of public utility, they won’t pay any compensation for the internship. Also accommodation and boarding must be paid by the student. The confrontation with such a lot of poverty is not everyone’s pleasure, therefore you should reflect it if you think you’ll be equal to this practical course.
Professional internship
For the arrangement of a professional placement we charge a fee of US$ 100, payable after a successful arrangement of the internship. The practical course should last at least 4 weeks.
The Academia Activa organizes internships with different companies for economy or jurisprudence, for medical students or other. Most or these practical courses are unpaid and the accommodation and boarding are costs of the pupil.
